We are dedicated to helping Philadelphia area families and their companion animals. Our mission is to help keep family pets happy and healthy and OUT of the city shelter. We are able to provide this through: raising funds to help local families afford expensive and lifesaving surgeries, education and assistance finding additional resources to help with medical and/or behavior needs.
Why?Because the city shelter takes in over 32,000 animals every year. 10,000 of which are owner surrenders due to financial hardship, moving, health of animal, among other reasons. If there is any way that we can help keep a companion animal with their family, we will do so. Hey- these pets are a part of our family! We don’t want people to feel helpless and have to abandon these precious family members in their time of need. Having these furry (or not) creatures in our loves help us live longer and healthier lives. From helping reduce the risk of heart disease, to helping people do everyday tasks-they are the gift that keeps on giving! Why not give them a hand (or paw) when they need it most?
